Welcome to Minnesota's Heritage: Back to the Sources web site
Through the support of a Legacy Grant, a brand-new journal featuring well-documented research into new and little known sources is now available, just as we approach the 150th anniversary of the Civil War and the Dakota Conflict of 1862. Topics may include:
- Visits to various places of interest, what you can discover
- Insights into daily life during the 1860s
- Solved/Unsolved mysteries: Who was John Otherday's white wife?
- Newly discovered documents, artifacts, sites, etc.
- Biographies of history makers, and more!
You're invited to participate, as a subscriber, author, or a reader. You'll find images never before published, stories told only within families, factors influencing actions of families, and more. Subscribe today!
